  • Controlled $1500 budget, focusing on advertising the event around campus with the use of fliers, table tents, and TV advertisements, among other methods.
  • Also a part of the Feed the Need committee that asks the students of UNI to donate one of their meals at the dining centers to hungry children across the world.
  • Participated in a large amount of volunteer work, including cleaning up roads, planting trees, and helping to feed and care for the needy.

(8/2008 – 5/2010) Gamer Brigade

• President
  • Organized the University of Northern Iowa’s first all-around video game club. Our numbers continued to grow every month, and we had developed an advertising campaign with chalk on the sidewalks around campus and posters in different popular venues.

• President
  • Pushed a strong marketing campaign early on in the school year that helped triple the club’s attendance. I also helped organize various fundraisers and started the club’s first funding account through the local credit union.
